We’re in Victoria now, having driven south from Pt. Alberni this morning. It’s still really hot but we have air conditioning thanks to an electric plug-in for the van so we’ll make it. Along the way we stopped at a protected forest.

Big seemed to be the theme of the drive. We didn’t stop at Big Lots or see Bigfoot in the forest, but we did notice this fellow:

On a more serious note, these were some more tasteful statues in Pt. Alberni, also large in size.
