This one-time mining town has the same general historic character as Telluride, with cheaper restaurants and accomodations. We’re staying at a park in town right on the river, which is pretty neat. There are very few people here.

The drive in was gorgeous. A beautiful narrow canyon with high rocky walls on both sides. Everything is so green!

P.S. If it looks like all the buildings in the town shots are slanted, they are. The main street is on an incline, so it made it hard to get level photos.
