Life on California's beautiful Central Coast

Flora and fauna of Mesa Verde

Over 20,000 acres of the park has been burned by wildfire in the last 13 years. But as we Santa Barbarans know all too well, many flowers and plants will appear in the years after a fire that might not otherwise. The mesa isn’t as green as it could be, but it is still very beautiful despite being mostly charred.
