Best bike ride ever

I am going to keep where this actually is a bit of a secret, because it is such a special spot that I think it deserves a little anonymity. But since this name doesn’t appear on any maps, I can tell you it was once the Pinkerton Toll Road that brought supplies between rural southwestern Colorado towns.

This next one fascinated me just because of the time passed .. a graffitied aspen from 1978. I am not condoning defacing trees.

We are now in Mesa Verde, and came up to the highest point in the park to get reception. Our mail at Durango was finally located somewhere in the depths of the post office.
